DATING ADVICE
AVOIDING Red Flags That REPEL Filipinas
If you’re reading this, there’s a better than zero chance that your love life hasn’t worked out for the best. Maybe things ended badly. Maybe you haven’t been able to get started at all. Whatever the case, you start to find yourself running out of romantic options and the clock isn’t going backwards.
So you turn to FIlipinas in Cebu City. Maybe a change in scenery will kickstart something in you. Maybe women from a different cultural background will be more receptive to your romantic overtures.
Or maybe it’s not any of that. Maybe you’re just out of time and options and maybe you think that dating in Cebu City is your last best hope at finding love.
But before you pack any bags or book a ticket, you’ve got to get yourself prepared for the dating scene down there. There are a couple of dating turn-offs that you should avoid so you don’t end up sabotaging your chances of dating a Filipina.
Being a braggart
One thing you need to understand about Filipinos is that the culture of the Philippines promotes humility, even if it’s a false sense of humility. No matter how proud you are of something, you don’t actually go out and say that you’ve got pride in it because then you’ll be seen as bragging, and bragging is one of the quickest ways to turn a Filipino’s opinion against you.
But this also extends to your demeanor. If you act like you’re too good for where you are, that’s going to turn Filipinas against you. They’re going to think that you’re some kind of snob and they, in general, do not want to be in a romantic relationship with a snob.
Bad hygiene
You know how they say that cleanliness is next to godliness? Well, Filipinos are pretty hardcore about their Catholicism and their godliness, and they can be pretty hardcore about their cleanliness as well. They’re so hardcore about it that some Filipinos will bathe twice a day, once in the morning and once again at night.
So if you plan on going to the Philippines to date the women there, don’t skimp on the soap or the deodorant because the women there aren’t going to appreciate it if you do.
Tactlessness
A lot of Filipino people can put on that they’re thick skinned and that they can take a few verbal barbs, but they might be a lot more sensitive than they let on. So if you do find yourself in the Philippines and you’re trying to date the women down there, make it a point to watch what you say, lest you say the wrong thing and nip your romantic prospects in the bud.
Everyone’s got their own red flags. Some red flags are rooted in personal experiences. A person experiences something they don’t like and it becomes a red flag for them going forward. Other red flags are more cultural. But regardless of where these red flags originate, you still want to avoid them.
