Why Buying a Wife Doesn’t Work Out the Way You Think It Will

A lot of people seem to think you can just buy a wife online and go about your business like normal. The reality is that it’s not that easy — and if it was, it’d probably be human trafficking, which is — yes, you guessed it — highly illegal.

Normally, you can’t just pay money up front and walk out of the store with a wife by your side like you would with any normal product. Despite the term “mail-order bride” sounding like it’s available on Amazon, the transaction itself isn’t as straightforward as you might imagine it to be.

Maybe at one point in history it was that easy, but it surely isn’t that way anymore. Back in the day, women used to advertise themselves as brides for sale in various catalogs, to which men would respond to. This exact practice has been observed in Ancient Asia, Europe, and many other places around the world throughout history.

Today, the idea of “purchasing” a wife attracts many people worldwide, particularly those with a high interest in Asian women of fine stature and high appeal in need of a foreign husband. The process in achieving this endeavor may be a lot different now, and the means by which the “purchasing” is done has definitely changed a lot over the years — but many blokes still enjoy the thrill of trying their hand at doing so.

However, here’s a handful of reasons why it probably won’t work out the way you think it will, considering that it’s a highly tedious process to say the least.

You aren’t purchasing a bride, you’re paying for the possibility to build a relationship with one.

Nowadays, you don’t “pay” for a wife. You pay to avail services that have the potential to introduce you to a potential wife. But in order to get her to marry you, you’ll need to build good rapport with her, of course.

And in order for that to happen, you’ll have to keep paying more money, since you’re going to be using more of these services in order to keep talking to her.

That’s the reality of it. It’s a pay-to-win landscape, and if you want to continue talking to a potential bride, you’ll need to keep paying more money. So, first, you’ll need to hit it off with a woman who you think is compatible with you — but to do so, you guessed it. Pay up.

The process works like this — you pay money to create an account with a premium service that claims to pair people up with potential brides — usually an international dating site or a matchmaking agency.

Once you’ve done that, the service either provides a certain amount of expendable credits for you to use (which you can use to chat with women up to a certain extent) or they’ll have you pay more money to get credits.

From there, it’s trial and error until you chat up the right one for you.

There’s no immediate guarantee that she’ll marry you.

You could have all the money and time in the world to dedicate to these services — but there’s still no guarantee that the woman you’re chatting with will agree to marry you.

That depends entirely on how well you two get along, how compatible you two are, and how much she wants to get married as well. On the plus side, however, she’s probably on that site in the first place for this exact reason, the same as you are. She wants to find a life partner. But are you the one for her?

Again, trial and error along with more spending is the only way to truly find out — unless you’re lucky enough to hit it off with flying colors on the first few profiles you interact with. However, if you don’t have that beginner’s luck, it’ll take lots of dedication, time, money, effort, and admirable determination to achieve success in this endeavor.

If she does decide to marry you, one of you will need to fly to the other’s country.

Let’s say you find the woman of your dreams with this service. You’ve chatted with multiple women, searched high and low, paid thousands of dollars in tokens, considered your options, and finally decided to ask the million dollar question to a woman whom you’ve established significant mutual rapport with.

She says yes.

Congratulations, your journey is almost finished. The only last obstacle there is, however, is the actual marrying part. Considering that you had enough money to avail and continue using these services in the first place, you probably have enough money to either:

A.) Take a flight all the way over to where your soon-to-be-bride is

Or…

B.) Pay for her flight from where she is all the way to where you are now

That didn’t seem too hard, right? Well, if it did, that’s because you may have thought it was going to be as easy as adding a wife to your cart then heading to the check-out counter.

The reality is that there are people who end up finding the love of their lives through these services, and many of them do end up getting married — but the entire process costs time, effort, and lots and lots of money.

Some firms will even offer to cover plane tickets, accommodations, and even wedding fees, like payments for the venue, the organizers — everything. The only issue with that is that it’s really, really expensive sometimes. And we mean really expensive. More expensive than necessary. So keep an eye out for that.

So, in conclusion, buying a wife isn’t as easy as it sounds. It’s a whole convoluted process that involves a lot of patience, perseverance, trial and error, and ultimately — cash. So, if you’re up to this challenge, then by all means, feel free to give it your best shot.

Just keep in mind the things we talked about here and stay safe.

Best of luck, everyone!
